The Eastern District of California Chapter 13 Bankruptcy system is highly formalized in regards to the use of proper forms, local rules, and local practices.  The Court’s web-site is an excellent resource in locating these forms, rules, and practices.  The Court’s web-site also provides a list of Frequently Asked Questions that is very comprehensive in these areas in addition to links to other valuable sources.  Below is a list of links to the various pages of the Court’s web-site.

In addition, participating Chapter 13 Trustees from around the country have a web-site that allows debtors and creditors (and their attorneys) to obtain information in regards to the status of a case over the Internet.  Cases for both Sacramento Trustees, Lawrence J. Loheit and Jan P. Johnson, can be located on that web-site.  In order to obtain access to that site, you must obtain an application from the Trustee that has been assigned that case, prove that you are a party in interest in the case, and, in some instances, pay a fee.

Listed below are links to these sites.
